misdiagnosis on an 8 yr old

i would like to know with the mis diagnosis of svt and asthma and on 4 different occasions  her heart rate went from 240 - 260 bpm 5 to 7 hours  also given digoxcin which made her left arm and jaw go  numb. what damage could that do to her heart.  Then the correct diagnosis of a abnormaly low heart rate could it have been fixed?  help
