2 year old started limping/ Perthes Disease?

I have a two year old son who woke up on October 1st & started limping real bad. We do not know of any injuries that he sustained. We took him to the doctor, then to the ER & then were admitted in Children's Hospital for a series of tests. We had X-Rays, Ultrasounds, Bone scan, MRI, bloodwork etc.. When we were discharged from Children's Hosptal the Radiologist says she thought our son had Perthes Disease. We then met with a Pediatric Orthopaedic Specialist who said he does not think our son has Perthes Disease & we should come back for X-Rays again in 3 months. Doc did say he noticed decreases blood flow to the hip joint but did not think he had Perthes Disease yet

We are now starting our 4th week of our son having an un-diagnosed limp & we have no idea what is causing it. Any suggestions/ anyone ever have something similiar happen to their kids?

My son will be 2 in Aug. He has been limping for a week, had x-rays, were negative.  He is still limping and I don't know what to do next.
