3 month old sick

My 3 month grand daughter was pale,lethargic,vomiting,sweating and now is spitting dark brown stuff up. she is in the hospital on a IV and pedi but will not drink anything. today she had a watery stool with blood in it. Can someone help me find out what is wrong. Doctors here are not really nice. donna_702002***@****

You cannot put addresses up on a forum you have to put it in a PM ..how is she doing today? it could be pnuemonia (pneumonia) ..her parents should ask again what is the matter, they may still be doing tests, flu is going round now dont know where you are located but England is starting with swine flu, I hope she does okay .Let us know

Sounds like milk allergy with esophageal damage from reflux. When she is better ask for a hypoallergenic formula and a PPI, proton pump inhibitor, and possibly carafate to coat her throat and heal the acid damage. Hopefully it's nothing more serious. If it's a viral infection, the above stuff will still help, as her GI system may not tolerate milk protein following illness. Good luck!!

She had Intussusception they took her to Lousvile Ky Childrens hospital and they found out what was wrong with her they push air into her bowels and fixed them. she is eating smiling now
