Altitude Changes and infancy

by momw1, Oct 08, 2009 05:57PM
My family and I are planning a trip to Telluride, Colorado at the end of November. It is 9500 ft. in elevation. My daughter will be four and a half months old at that time. Will it be okay to take her there. We will be there a week. Are there any helath issues we should be concerned about? I have tried to contact my pediatrician over the phone, but I have not received a repsonse and we need to commit to or regretfully postpone the trip soon. Thank you for you help.
