Different size children
I have 2 boys, age 5 and 1.  My 5 year old has always been way above the growth charts for height and weight.  He is currently 52" tall and weighs 78 lbs.  My 16 month old has fallen to the 5th percentile.  He weighs 20.5 lbs and is 29.5".  The 16 month old will soon see a pediatric endocrinologist.  My question is could my childrens odd growth be related somehow?  I think it is odd that my 5 year old is so large and my 1 year old is so tiny, and I have read that different growth disorders stem from the same systems and I was wondering if I should also get my 5 year old checked out for any growth disorders as well.
