Growing Pains

My daughter will be 16 months and for the past couple weeks at night or napping she starts crying in her sleep, Could she be having growing pains, She had her check up yesterday and her doctor said she's to young to have growing pains, her height is 32 and her weight is 20 lbs, mind you she has been 20 lbs since she was 7 months old and I am very concerned, she eats her 3 meals a day and a bunch of snacks in between, seems like she growing in height but not weight, should I be concerned.  The doctor said she is above average in her height. She is also a very active little girl and seems to be very healthy.

Jizi,
Your daughter is eating.  And eating.  And eating.  She seems to be healthy.  She is growing in height (that's where the food's going!  LOL, some of us aren't so lucky ;-).  She could be having pains, or just nightmares...or maybe even just crying in her sleep.  Relax.  Is she staying asleep or waking with the crying?  Try a little rub down if she's waking, but keep her in the bed.  Just a little reminder you're there and still going to be there when she wakes up.

Sweet Dreams.
