Growth Hormone

Growth Hormone

My 10 yr old was on HgH for 18 mos from 5/05-12/06 for short stature.  While his growth has maintained its velocity , he is still barely on 3rd percentile.  50.5 inches 61lbs.  Looking to get hi back on growth hormone.  Blood tests normal although we have never done the stimulus test, but current bone age has "advanced" compared to previous ones--used to show he was an 8 yr old with 6yr old bone age--current test shows 10.6 yr old with mean bone age of 131 mos.  Now endocrinologist is concerned that using growth hormone will push him into early puberty and could make him shorter than what his final height may be.  Is there any way to avoid this but still help him gain some inches--very emotional issue for him!!
