Hanta Virus

Hanta Virus

I am having a mouse problem in my new car.  I have seen evidence of their presence for the last couple of weeks and have caught 3 in traps.  I have tried in vain to get rid of them and have my car going in for a full clean/disinfecting tomorrow.  However, I read earlier today about Hantavirus and am now incredibly worried.  I have a 2 year old daughter who travels with me in the car daily.  I contacted our local center for disease control and they advised that our area has not had a Hantavirus case since 1997 (which is a relief).  However, my daughters pacifier fell on the car floor the other day and before I could pick it up she had it back in her mouth!  I'm now in a near panic that it came into contact with mouse feces/urine when it fell and she will contract some horrible sickness from it.  Please help!

it's ok. our bodies have great immune systems that fight off infection/viruses. I'm sure she'll be ok. just watch her and have her get enough sleep so she can keep her immune system up.
