Hearing loss

My son has been diagnosed with moderate sensorineural hearing loss, I'm just looking for any one that might have a child with a similar diagnosis, do they wear hearing aids and how much do they help, do they see a speech pathologist and after seeing one is their speech normal. Any information or advice to help my little guy would be appreciated.
