Help Needed 1yr 7mos baby diarrhea

Our 1yr 7mos old baby boy has been admitted 4 times this year (Feb, July, Sept, Nov) for constant diarrhea. His stools are watery, loose, at dirst they have bad smell but later not that smelly. Changing 10 diapers daily is not impossible. He is breastfed and he has Dr. Edwards Sterilized Drinking Water eversince. His stool samples have pus cells when we rushed him to the hospital last Thu night 05 Nov 09, but presently the pus cells are nowhere to be found at present. He has n signs of dehydration.What can we do to prevent such occurence? We are currently in the hospital waiting for him to fully recover since his stool is already for stool culture.

maybe its something like a food allergy. i would request an allergy test.
