High fever with headache and chest pain

My 4 year old son suffers from high fever that come and go about one per month and they are acompanied by headache and chest pains. This usually stays under control with OTC tylenol and ibuprofin, lasting a few days.
The first time it was treated with atibiotics and it seamed to die down. Aprx. 6 weeks later it came back with a vengence and  this time not only chest pains prior and during fevers he also had severe headaches and eyes( said mom my eyes are melting). They checked for strep and negitive. antibiotics and home we went.
The third time (now) They did urine sample revealing protein and blood in the urine and also a slight pusseness of the throught and still no strep. CAT scan normall and we are awaiting the blood results tomorrow. Can anyone give some clue as to what this might be. Thankyou

There have been many infection and virus going round this year not certain where you live but in the US one has been doing the rounds that last a week or two seems to clear up the reoccurs .Fever each time ,headache and some aching of limbs..if you scroll way down you will others similar ,my opinion is it takes it's course but if the child seems worse or you are really concerned take him back to the doctor . There was also another theory about more allergies than usual, does he play outside a lot ?
