Is high protein in CSF a marker for injury?

Baby was large...natural delivery even though head was high, fetal distress, got stuck had fever, then Csection.but she did not cry when delivered @10 lbs, critical, had ventilator hood, low resting heart rate, dusky, hypotonia,
Placenta revealed acute chorioamnionitis, funisitis...
Thrombosis of fetal vessels.

Auditory + Sensory Processing disorder, ADHD,OCD,ODD, acute behavior, absent seizures,
High functioning Autism, learning disability, etc.

Later in life:
Brain MRI was abnormal
Diagnosis of central nervous system...
Neurologically low
Delayed for age

Doctors did not tell us what to expect, I thought all was normal, we had no early intervention.

Thanks for advice,
Devastated Mom

Hello, how are you? How old is your son? Did your baby have distress, go to NICU. Were you informed about injuries and what to expect? Do you have residual injury from the ordeal? Sadly, I do....nice to talk to a woman who I can relate with, maybe lets swap stories for comfort. Anyway,
Advocate for your child in school, request for your child to have a full evaluation for special education services and iep team. Do you have a good pediatrician? In my case my pediatrician didn't help and kept abnormal findings from me.
Speak up, ask questions, go with your gut. If you feel something is wrong, and pediatrician not listening. Start fresh with a new one...then request appointments with Neurobehavioralist, psychologist, occupational therapist, developmental pediatrician at a children's hospital. If you are not satisfied get second and 3rd opinions.
You are your child's best advocate!
May the Lord guide you, give you strength and wisdom. Amen.
