Is it Beta thalassemia?

My 29months old daughter in her routine CBC, peripheral blood film tests has the following results:
CBC :
TLC(10,00,000,000/L)=11.3
RBC(1000,000,000,000/L)=5.64
Hb=10.4g/dl
Hct=32.5%
MCV=57.6fl
MCH=18.2pg
MCHC=32.2g/dl
RDW=18.2%
platelets=336 x 10,00,000,000/L

Peripheral blood film:
RBC: Microcytosis +++
         hypochromasia +++
         Elliptocytes +
WBC: no abnormal cells seen
Platelets: adequate

Is her RBCs indices are similar to Beta Thalassemia? Would u suggest to get Hb HPLC, serum Iron, TIBC test done for confirmation? Or should I start givinr her Iron syrup? My daughter weighs 13kgs, does not eat properly, just survives on milk, consumes around 1.5litres of milk with tiny meals consisting of 2-3 bowls of solid food plus some friut intake daily.
