Is medication needed or harmful?

by GrandmaBlaze, Mar 26, 2009 01:02PM
My god daughter went to the doctor yesterday and had a strep test done, it was negitive. During this visit doctor was told she finished her Amoxicillian presrcibed on March 9th, with the possibility she may have strep then, but that test was negitive also, she took all her medicine. After the Strep test yesterday she went to an ENT doctor and he drew blood to check for mono and prescribed CLEOCIN and PREDNISOLONE. She went because she has a runny nose, and sister just got over pink eye that didn't get treated for about a week, until she had multiple high fevers. Should my god daughter stay on these medications if they can not find anything wrong with her. There are additional reasons as to Mom taking her to the doctor, but may think irrelevant to go into??
