Lips turning blue

My son is 3 years old and his lips have been turning blue. he was born premature at 26 weeks. he had sleep apnea other than that he have not had any other problems. and as of today i notice that his lips was a darker color then usual. they were blue earlier dis morning. it was kinda cold so i warmed him up and turned on the heater but the problem still persist later today. he is not acting any different, he is still active and eating and acting normal. any suggestions what the problem may be??? anything i can do b4 i take him to the dr in the morning
