Loose stool for more than 10 days

my 7 month old baby has been passing small amounts of loose stool for more than 10 days now. Her stool culture showed moderate amounts of E COli. The Dr prescribed antibiotics for 5 days, but still there is no change. She doesnt have fever or vomiting. What is the reason for this? should we give her any other medicine?

Sometimes antibiotics can cause loose stools,it can be one of the side effects,but if you are still not happy take your baby back to the doctors.

I see you are from India and it could be some of the wonderful spices you use ..do you put any in his baby food ? also if you are breast feeding the food you eat will go into your breast milk , so perhaps lessen some spiceyness ...good luck
