My 3 year old son

For the past 10 months my son has had many issues, First he had pnemonia, then on him birthday things got worse, he was vomitting for 2 days then we took him to the doctors where he found out he had strep, his tonsils always remained enlarged and then he found out he had something else wrong with his lungs called bronchioitis I believe not bronchitis but something that affects the small bronchios, then symptoms of frequest coughing and vomitting remained the doctor said it takes 16 weeks to cure but we also found out he had strep again. Well they treated him again and then all symptoms of coughing and vomiting though the night remained 2 months later they did another chest xray but they said there were still white clouds but they are clearer and then sent me home then my son who was still once a week at least running a low grade fever still coughing and still coughing to the point of throwing up. I took him back to the doctors and then they gave him stuff for allergies which did seem to help the cough but then nope right back to hacking and throwing up a few days a week. He also has palytes in his nose and still swollen tonsils they are sending him to and ENT specialist and an allergy specialist soon. I am just wondering what could be causing all tis sicknesses in my son. He has never seemd completely symptom free for the past 10 months and I am getting extremely worried and dont feel like the doctors are checking everything to be sure to find what the cause is. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it. Oh I wanted to add that my 22 month old daughter does not harrdly get sick at all so it cant always be something contagious because they play, drink and eveything after each other even when I try to stop them and she remains well Thanks Helena Krygier.

That almost has a sound of whooping cough. is the cough really deep and raucous , I think if he is doing that you should take him to have him checked again and ask about it .

Oh Dear poor boy and poor you what a time you have had are are still having . I know that if tonsils are infected children do get sick a lot, including most of the symptoms you have told us here .He may need his immune system building up, so an antioxident supplement wont hurt, Vit C and Vit B Complex. 4 year old is the earliest recomended  age .A lot of times the adenoids are also removed at the same time, the Doctor will decide if they need to be Hope you get some answers soon , let us know how he gets on ..good luck .
