My son and diahorrea and blue lips

Hi my son is 16 months and hes had severe diahorrea for the past 3 days but the doctor has said as long as hes drinking hes alright and now hes come out to have blue lips is this linked in someway?? And how long should i leave it before i take him hospital for his diahorrea??

I would call out of hours hun.  Many a time i would be trotting down to A & E with little boy in tow. Its a second oppinion at least ;-)

Do the child's lips turn blue after eating ?

Blue lips can be a sign of low oxygen.  It really needs to be seen by a doctor for further evaluation.
