Nausea, gas and burping

My 9 yr. old son has been dealing with nausea for 9 monthes now. the doctors put on prelosec, zantac, and prozac thinking it was do to anxiety. But it has not been working. We saw another doctor and he put him on meds. for abdominal migraine. That is not working either. The syptoms are worse around 4:00pm . He trys to relief it by going to the bathroom. But most on the time it does not work. He does burp and pass gas with this syptom. I am starting to think it is something really bad. He sometime cries because the nausea is so bad and he turns white. The only way to relief the symptom is for him to go to bed. He is having a hard time to keep his weight and when he gains, he loses it. He weighs 63lbs. He is not as tall as his classmates. As a mother it is really hard to see my son can't eat his fovorite meals because he is too nauseous to eat. I have been looking up these syptoms on line for awhile now with no solutions and I hope you can help. Please

Thank you for responding to my problem. I have thought about him having wormes.I did mention this to his Dr. and she felt that he didn't have worms. I will have him try yogurt.

I would take him off all meds. The acid meds do him no justice and are 90% of the time over perscribed! THey are only meant for people who have to high a level of stomach acids that will interefere with the esopogus. THere is only one test that can find this and it is wher they put a tube down the nose into the stomach for 14 hours and record the acids along with eating and any vomiting or other episodes. It is a pain ful testtoo, I had it down and mine were high and I have a hyatal hernia with mine. Anyways The medsd will take away the needed acids needed to keep good flora in the intestines and digest the food properly. The meds are only meant to aid for a 4-6 week period really and can lead to bone issues and osteoperosis. Not good for a growing child at all. THer is NO medication on the market that has been studied to give a child either! I would try hav ehim eating yogurt for two weeks to help get the flora back then after that hav ehim go to a gastrointerologists that is specifically for children. Has he been tested for worms??? I know yuck but he has lots of the symptoms
