Older post but agree with the others that this was unacceptable and inappropriate for a 5 month old baby. You are right to be angry and she is not trustworthy to watch your child again. good luck
I trust that your baby is fine.
To be honest, I would not trust your sister to look after your child again. It appears that she does not know much about babies.
Hope you find someone that is capable of looking after babies and someone that you trust.
The other thing to do when leaving your child with someone to look after, is to give specific instructions what they should do and also to leave a contact telephone number so that they can get in touch with you should they encounter any problems or the baby is distraught and does not settle.
When babies are ill, they normally only want to be with the person that they are familiar with. The more often your sister comes round and plays with the baby, the baby will form a bond with your sister, so in the future should you start to trust your sister again, the baby will be more comfortable with your sister.
There are lots of reasons why a baby cries and it may have been wind, a wet or soiled nappy, being overtired, being ill, or feeling not secure with your sister.
Best wishes.
sorry just spotted the date so am assuming Baby is fine ...
I would certainly make a call to your pediatrician and tell them what happened , they may say keep and eye on the child or bring him in..good luck ...
