Pain in between fingers and toes (on webbing)

My 5 yr. old has recently startewd complaining about pain in the webbing of his hands and feet.
He tells me that if I apply my finger in between his toes and fingers the pressure helps him and it does not hurt.
This does not happen often, as I mentioned before it just started ~2 weeks ago and is generally in the morning and at night.
Is this a sign of something serious?
Do I need to go to a neurologist to see why he is in pain?

sounds like some type of nerve pain. if it persist, I'd make an appointment with your primary care doc.

Hello I'm 25 and I'm suffering with exact same symptoms I thought over the last few years it's was a nervous tick,but I have to put fingers in-between my toes and fingers wherever I go it is so annoying and I don't know what it is.....my father walked on his toes so do I and so does my son I'm wondering is it connected with my need to put pressure on the webbing on my toes and fingers please help
