Premature Adrenarche w/advanced bone age

We took my daugther to her pediatrician last month because we noticed underarm hair and pubic hair. She uses deodorat daily and we had never given that any thought. She is 5 years 9 months old, 48" tall and weighs 63 pounds. She does not look overweight, she carries most of her weight in her midsection. Her pediatrician ordered a bone age test which came back advanced, 7 years 10 months. We recently visited a pediatric endrocrinologists that ordered several labs. The Thyroid was normal, testosterone 6.3 and 17-OH 24. She gave her a diagnosis of premature adrenarche w/advance bone age. She is it is perfectly normal to have the advanced bone age with the PA.

My question is this. Is it common to have the advanced bone age with premature adrenarche? Will she most likely stay with the @ 2 years advancement or could it advance further? Should we expect her to start full blown puberty soon?

I am in the same boat you are. My daughter is 6.5 and she is 51" tall and weighs 73 pounds. She also carries her weight in the middle (although her face has been puffy).
her bone age showed her to be 8years and 11 months old. The endo we saw told us all the tests were "normal" she didn't give us any levels and she said that she is overweight and that is making her taller and confusing her body into "puberty changes" When I expressed concern about her starting her period at 7, the endo said, well not 7, but maybe 8. I was really underwhelmed by the experience, and I am told that if they start too soon, it could stall her growth, but no one seems all that concerned. She has already exhibited body odor, mood swings and she has pubic hair.

So no advice, but certainly commiseration.
