Premature adrenarche

My son at the age of 6 1/2 started grown hair under his arms. Took him to a pediatrician who did not seem too concerned and said he would check on him in 6 months. At the age of 7 the story was the same the hair growth was more pronounced but again the pediatrician did not seem to concerned. At 7 1/2 yrs Another trip to a different pediatrician had the same results. I informed the doctor I had noticed changes in my childs demeanor he was acting like a teenager. He was not interested in doing thing that other kids his age did, He would say thats so lame. He would say to me I think I need to see the doctor because his nerves felt funny in his penis. He had all the indications of a developing libido. I asked if I could get a referal to an endicronologist because I felt something was wrong. He is in the 90th percentile for his hieght and 95th percentile for his wieght. The endo had a bone age xray done of his left hand and his bone age is 3 years above where his actual age is. We are now waiting for his bloodwork to come back. I have one person saying it is his pituitary gland and another saying it may be his adreanal gland. what does all this mean?
