Pyloric Stenosis questions

My daughter was 3 months old when she has surgery on her pyloric muscle. It seemed to go great and was no complications. She is now 5 and has been coughing pretty hard. I just noticed her whole stomache area and it apears swollen from under her breats to right above her privates. I am wondering if the surgery wasn't done properly could it have messed up and be leaking fluid into her abdemon area. It almost looks as if she is pregnant and feels swollen for full of fluid. Could something happen to the muscle from all the hard coughing? please help and only give answers if you know exactly what you are talking about. Thanks
