Reactive Hypoglycemia

Hi everybody,

So a few years ago (when I was 13) I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia. My blood sugar would rarely stay above 70 and i had to eat literally every hour and a half to keep from passing out. I'm 16 now, and for some reason my blood sugar is completely normal. I can go 6-7 hours without eating if i need to. Is it possible that my insulin balanced out as i grew up? I'm completely confused..
(Just for some family history, I am the first one to have any problems with hypoglycemia. We're pretty certain that it came from a bad case of lyme when i was 2 years old.)

ANY help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

My son was born hypoglycemia.... His doctors told me as he gets older he would be able to hold his sugar levels regularly.... He used to have to eat every 4 hours but now hes starting to go longer without his blood sugar levels dropping
