Red Cheeks

Red Cheeks

My grandbaby lives with me, and he is 5 months old.  His cheeks have been getting very red alot.  What could this be, and what should we do for him?

He could well be teething, that often causes red cheeks in babies. Is he dribbling a lot or chewing on his hands?

He chews on everything in front of him.  He has his two front lower teeth - could be the top coming in.

Definitely sounds like it mamapatch. You could buy a teething ring or similar - you put them in the freezer then give it to the baby to chew on - it's hard and cold, and this stops the pain. You can buy teething gels as well which you rub on the gums and it numbs them.
