Rsv

So i had my son exactly two weeks ago! He started getting sick:/ i didnt kno y i took him to the ER and to his 1week check up n they didnt seem to care that he was Coughing a bunch n sneezing n very congested! Finally a few days ago i took him in again to the ER n they found out he has a virus newborns have been getting its Called Rsv n if they would have tested it before they would have found it i was So pissed!!! So now today we got out of the childerns hospital they sent him home with oxygen but to me he still seems bad but they that he was Fine!!:/ so now im just hoping he gets better cuz i hate seein him this way

I agree with New Mommy.  I'd follow up and be the squeaky wheel on this subject that gets some action.  I'd be afraid at home like this with an infant.  good luck dear

My son had rsv and the hospital kept him and thankfully we were released in a few hours because his breathing was better.its scary to do that at home, honestly they should of kept him he's only an infant ! Please contact a doctor I honestly don't think he should be home my son was two months old when he had it, and my husband ask if we can go home with him and they told us some pretty scary stuff . He shouldn't be home if your scared I hope he is doing okay but he's an infant I know how scared you are, best of luck Hun

Aww sorry to hear that sometimes drs dont believe woman about how sick their child really is.  My sons dr thought I was crazy when I said my son was throwing up too much saying babies spit it thats what they do... till I fed him and he threw up.  He had severe acid reflux.  Us woman gotta be persistent when it comes 2 our kids. I hope ur lil man gets better soon
