My 7 week old son has an inguinal hernia that is causing him extreme pain. My pediatrician recommended two surgeons but I can't get him into either's office as my son is currently uninsured. I'm in the process of getting him on medical assistance through PA state but they keep running me in circles since my case worker dropped the ball. Once the supervisor reviews his application he will be covered, unfortunately it is taking weeks for this to happen. Ayden, my son, stays up screaming all night because he is in so much pain. I can't afford the surgery up front but I'm willing to make payments, I just need a surgeon who is willing to work with me. Every office I've called ends the conversation as soon as I tell them he is uninsured. As I said, I'm more than willing to make payments, also as soon as his medical assistance kicks in they will back pay any medical expenses. If anyone has any contact information for a surgeon who may be willing to help please pass it along!
