Should we stop Lupron with bone age of 15?

Should we stop Lupron with bone age of 15?

My daughter started puberty at age 4. The peds endo wanted to wait and watch her because her bone age remained only 1 year advanced until the age of 11 yrs.  At 11, her bone age showed 13 1/2 yrs.  Lupron was started at that time and she was 4'7". She is now 12, her bone age shows 15 yrs and she is now 4'10".  Our peds endo told us we could stop the Lupron or continue for a couple more months to see if she could get any more growth.  We met with another peds endo who told us to stop the Lupron because it really won't do anything for her and it might actually stop any growth she would get before her growth plates fuse.  Since they seem to disagree, we really don't know what to do.  We don't want to stop the Lupron if it could help her grow and we don't want to continue if it will not help her at all.

This is a personal choice that you have to make, I don't want to push one way or the other. You can go for a 3rd opinion and see what they say. Or you can continue with it to see what happens, if anything. Or just stop. It's really up to you. Good luck.
