well in a way that is a relief to me.. my son mow is having the spasms, and it kills him.. but prior to that he was squatting for no reason and turning color, they say it is due to his heart issues.. and when you said that he wasn't in pain this was the first thing that popped into my mind was is he squatting due to trying to catch his breath..
I really hope that they find out an answer for your sake and your little ones.. the unknown is what is bothersome..
good luck
Michelle
Michelle -- on our son, you can actually see the spasm. so, when he's laying down and relaxed, it's almost like a hiccup. He isn't short of breath or turning colors and can easily be running down the sidewalk and stop 10 times to squat. THe doctor is going to run some tests on his stool to make sure there isn't a parasite or something and we are just trying to figure out if its behavioral or a combination of behavorial and some other condition.
i do wonder about something that is why I asked about the above post but also my 7 year old for about 2 months now i think is having spasms.. but he is in pain and grabs his stomach
I hope you get answers
michelle.
just curious as to why you think it could be his stomach.. just because he is squatting? have you ever noticed if he looks a different color when he is doing this? i mean white/grey or even blue around his mouth. is he short of breath?
