I have a three year old who cant keep anything down. Already went to er but was sent home. Now she is running a fever and is sleeping all day. We are on day four should I go back to the er? She doesnt seem to be dehydrated but hasnt eaten anything in four days and isn't able to keep the liquids down either.
Yes, go back to the doctor. I'm guessing unless you've worked HARD to keep her hydrated that she will indeed be a bit dehydrated. Four days is a LONG time. My doctor has always told me that you give a child one or two sips every 15 minutes or 20 minutes when you are trying to hydrate them. don't let them drink a bunch or an irritated stomach will vomit it right back up.
But absolutely, take your child back to the doctor!
