My 13 yr old daughter has an appendicolth on her appendix that they found on ultrasound last night at the ER. Shes been having abdominal pain on the lower right quadrant for the past 3 weeks with vomiting only in the mornings and as missed school because of this. Her peditrician said its not an appendicitis since the pain is gone now and all her blood tests have come back negative. I want to find out why shes vomiting and why shes having the lowe right pain. Can an appendicolith casue vomiting and the pain in the lower right quadrant and what can be done. Please help.
Yes appendicitis can cause vomiting, but you say they have ruled that out..What is she eating as I am wondering if its a food allergy, does she eat or drink anything late or in the evenings, as the vomiting is in the morning, is she okay at school and the rest of the day ?
I stated above that she enjoys school and has friends. So it is unlikely that she is just vomiting in the mornings to get out of going to school. If that's all that you are going to keep asking about please don't reply anymore. I need some real help to figure this out.
Im still needing some help figuring this out. Can someone please shed some light on this for me. Can having an appenicolith embedded in your appendix cause vomiting and pain in the lower right quadrant? Thanks.
