Worried with a 3 month old

We have a 3 month old who is born 3 weeks early. She now makes eye contact but not all the time. We  have to try hard to make eye contact with her. When we look at her very closely she looks somewhere else. When she does make eye contact she smiles when we do and coo's too. She can track anything once she makes eye contact which is so hard. And also she doesn't grasp toys when we place her in gym. She trys to get her hands to the mouth all the time. She doesn't turn when we talk or make sounds but changes her expressions when there is some sound in the room. Should we be concerned?

Definitly not. Babies develop differnetly, at their own pace.

At 3 months of age, your baby's eyes are still developing. They are still trying to figure out how to work them. As far as her looking away, that's normal, too. I have three little girls, and even though they're all different, they all were pretty typical babies...just like your baby girl. Don't worry, but if it makes you feel better, maybe talk to her pediatrician to rule out any problems.
