advanced bone age in 2 year old

My son had a bone age test at the age of 2 years, 8 months because of height and large head size.  He is presently 42 inches tall and weighs 38 pounds.  At birth, he weighed 11 pounds and was 24 1/2 inches tall.  His bone age was advanced but I am not sure how advanced at this time.  He is advanced in language and cognition for his age.  They have done blood work for possible Soto's Syndrome but so far everything has been negative.  Could you please give me some information on the advanced bone age?  What are possible causes and how concerned should I be?  Thank you so much for any help!!

I can't figure out how to post on pediatric endocrinology forum.  When I post a question, it doesn't give me that choice.  What am I doing wrong?  The lasts posts on that forum are from 2008 so I wonder if it is still up.
