Good day, I'm writing from abroad and hope very much that soemthing will be cleared up after the consultation, The baby (boy) was born with the weight 3270kg and height 53cm. Now at the age of 6.5 monthes he is 8000 kg and 69 cm. The head is 44 cm and the chest is 44cm,too. He has had an ultra-sound examination of his head and in the result paper it is written that the slot between the hemispheres (Im's sorry if the medical terminology is not correct but I di hope you understand what I mean) is bigger than it must be normally: it is 5,3 mm. The third ventricle is also bigger than norm: 5.6 mm. According to the eye ground examination the discs of vision nerves are pale-pink, homogeneous, OD - boarders are found, OS -- boarders are clear, arteries are spasmed, a little narrowed, vein are of medium caliber, full-blooded, retina without alterations. When the child is asleep at night he sometimes sleeps on his side with his head thrown back a bit. On the basis of the above ultru-sonic examination of the head and eye-ground examination the baby was diagnosed with hypertension in the head. I have heard and read that this is very often hyperdiagnosed in my country and I would like to ask you to comment on the case if possible.
