breast feeding

My daughter is 14 1/2 month old.  still she is on breastfeeding , never liked bottles. she never liked any formulas n now i have been trying to give her whole milk that also she  does not take. what  should i do.. i have been trying to give her solid food she will eat very little but at last she want to be breast fed. still in the night she wake up 2 -3 times for milk.. if i dont give her she will start banging her head on the wall or floor.. please suggest me how should i go about this

My DD is about the same age and is also still being breastfed but she does it more for comfort and closeness because she eats tons of regular foods and drinks bottles of whole milk and juice.  I'm trying to wean her but it's not going well because like your daughter she throws a living fit like I'm killing her if I don't give her the booey (her name for it) when she demands it.  It's really only a couple of times a day for a few seconds as she is very much onthe go but it's still dificult for me and what's even harder is the fact that she too wakes up numerous times during the night.
I'll check to see if anyone has any advice for you. I'd be interested to read it.  I won't let her cry anything out even though at this point it might be the only answer unless I experiene a miracle!
