My daughter was a preemie too.  28 weeks 2lbs.  We had the same problem last year.  It turned out to be an asthma flare up caused by allergies.  The doctor put her on allergy medication and a anti inflamitory asthma medication and she cleared up with in a few weeks.  I hope you get it sorted out.  It is scarey being the mom of a preemie.  You'll be in my thoughts.
