How many days has your 5 yr old had a low grade fever?
I would ask your pharmacist . Also if the fever doesnt go away in a day or 2 I would make a Dr appt for your 5 yr old. Could be ear infection or it could just be a cold.
Without the fever I would say it could be allergies but with fever I am not sure.
My 8 yr old has severe allergies and dr. recommended Claritan chewable s
But you have to take it everyday I give it at night before bed it last 24 hours and you cant skip a day as it takes a day or two to start working but it does work.
good Luck and keep us posted
