high wbc

my 3 y/o son got his cbc and his wbc count reaches 19500. neutrophils 0.79 the rest is normal. can anyone please give me some advise regarding these matter. thank u

his wbc is down thats good , possibly the infection has subsided.

This could be an indication of infection, has he been unwell lately?

yeah, nose bleeding, high fever and no appetite for any kind of food

that is the reason for the high count , if he is fee of symptoms and has recovered get the tests done again they probably will have come down ..

hemoglobin - 13.4
wbc - 16.3 (his prev. wbc - 19.5)
neutrophil - 77
pmns - 77
platelet count - 463

Have you spoken to the doctor about these recent results , what did he say ?

hello heres my sons update on his blood smear
erythorocytes : mixture of of normocytic and microcytic cells with normochromia
luukocytes: increased with shift to the right. no atypical cells noted
schillings: neutrophil - 87, lymphocyte - 12, eosinophil - 1
platelets : adequate
remarks : shift to the right, rule out infection
