please help me

my 16 month old son has a runny nose, and ever since he has had his runny nose, at night and at nap time he throws up. he is still on his bottle at night, and i just put hm in his crib with it. what could cause him to puke? he is fine at all other times, except for when he lays down. he pukes 1 time, and after that he goes to sleep. i am trying to figure out if it is from the snot or what it is from. it is starting to worry me. as i said before, this didn't start until he got the runny nose. and now, he still has a little bit of a runny nose and is throwing up when he lays down. please help me. i am clueless and i am terrified something is wrong. during the day and any other time he runs around like his normal self playing and is 100% fine. please help

he has always been perfectly fine drinking milk in the past. this only started when his nose got runny, now he has a cough so i am assuming it was a cold. he still has a little bit of the runny nose as well. anhow, he wont do it every day. when he first got the runny nose he threw up for 4 nights in a row, then he didn't for 3 days. threw up and then didnt for 3 more days, and just did again. i am worried something is terribly wrong. i told the doctor and she said its just the snot draining. but would he still be doing it?

could it be reflux?  or it could be allergies. it could be snot, you know post nasal drip. you didn't say what was in the bottle, but milk could cause more of a flem, try juice or water or some sort of change. my kids were on the bottle at night til about 18 minths and they didn't have this happen.

He could have a milk allergy.. I dont think he needs a bottle at night and if you leave it in the crib with him he perhaps he is burping and because he is lieing down he vimits. It isnt a good idea take the bottle away give him a drink from a sippy cup before bed if you think he is thirsty. Get him attached to a :Blanky" or a toy  The runny nose could be from the cows  milk ,try soy milk .
