prevnar immunization assistance

Hello, my daughter is 22 months old and is in need of her third dose of prevnar. I am currently living in the dominican republic and one doctor here said, "she would need to receive the first and second dose again - much like when one doesn't obtain the Hep B shots on time..." and yet another doctor told me that, "she will just need a stronger dose to complete the prevnar innoculation".  As you can imagine, this is a concern for me I need to know what dose is appropiate for my 22 months old approximately 27 pound little girl.
Her first and second shots were administered in Canada when she was 6 months old then again when she was 8 months old, we moved out of the country and the doctor here didn't administer the third shot when she was one year.
Now I am very confused and concerned with her position.
Would a pediatrician please help me out.
Thank you

I also live in the Dominican Republic, and my daughter is past due on her 4 month vaccines (including Prevnar).  I am trying to keep her on the U.S. schedule for vaccinations.  Could you please tell me where you found a doctor in the D.R. that has Prevnar available? (name of clinic and doctor)  Does he also have the Rotavirus vaccine?  What do you think about how the vaccines are preserved? (electricity outages, etc.)  What is the cost?  Also, what do you think about going to the public hospital for some of the vaccines?  (Pentavalente: diptheria, pertussis, etc.)  We are in Jarabacoa, thank you so much for your help!!  (809) 574-6117

There is a lot of controversy about the Prevnar vaccine I suggest you do some research before you make a decision ..

they dont even give toddlers prevnar after 2.  from what ive read there is very low risk to a toddler after 2 of getting this infection. im not a doctor, but i would decline anymore prevnar shots at this point.
