red raw itchy spot on scalp

hi, i have a 11 year old son that has 2 small red, raw spots on the top of his head/scalp.  The rest of his scalp looks perfect.  He has a crew cut so it is very easy to see.  It itches him a lot.  I know head lice is sometimes in school, but i have looked very good and see nothing of that nature.  I only see some light, flaky dandruff in some parts.  Pls help. thx.

It's probably just a dry scalp. Try that stuff they use on babies for a dry scalp. I can't remember what it's called, maybe craddle cap or something. You can ask the pharmacist.

Does he wear a hat or cap as he could be allergic, also any new shampoo /hair gel recently , stop putting anything on his head and see if it clears up ...Good Luck
