separation anxiety

by ny2125, Jul 26, 2009 11:17AM
our 20 month old seems to every other night wake up crying in the middle of the night.  as soon as we pick him up, he falls back asleep.  when we try to put him down in the crib, he awakes!  but if we lay down w/him in our bed he is fine.  does this sound like separation anxiety?  also, when my wife is around, he mostly wants her.  thanks for any input.

Yes, it sure does sound that way. You'll just have to slowly make the adjustment. Make sure that he knows your around and have not left him, but have him sleep on his own.
