Real close but no, my yougest Dec. 23, the next yr. our grandson came 6 wk early Dec. 16, so for 1 wk a year they are the same age. Our yougest loves to tell people she is their Aunt. Your family sounds large as well, lots of good stories to tell, I'm happy to have been able to have 4 children, all in good health. Sometimes it's hard, when my daughter wants to tell me a milestone Ethan has met, his Aunt has already done, I try and keep quiet about her so my daughter can brag about her oldest son.
I always always say go with your GUT instincts. and don't stop until you can get answers.
I know with Chris, he can only eat so much at one time 1/2 hot dog (no bread) then he is done. so he has to eat many many times a day just to get feed. but I feel this is the way he was formed. he would take 15 minutes just to drink 1 ounce of formula as a baby due to his heart. Good luck,
By the way from what you just posted Were you pregnant at the same time as the mom to the 8 year old grandson? my mom was pregnant at the same time as her mom. my mom was carrying my sister found out her mom was pregnant and my sister was born in March, uncle born in Nov. and my brother born in Jan. (My mom was pregnant 2times while her mom was pregnant with her youngest My sister has an uncle younger then she is)

Does'nt sound stupid at all, any advice, will be worth looking into. Her teeth are very streight, no gaps between the teeth, our ortho Dr. said in small children, this means braces in the future. This was told to me about a sibling of the mother of my grandaughter. So far 3 of my 4 children have had braces for one reason or another. Her teeth may be part of the problem, she does seem hungry sometimes, but can't decide on what she wants, then decides not to eat at all. Her diet, chic nuggetts, bread sticks, pancakes, cereal less that 1/2 cup, 1/2 peanut butter sandwich, loves icy pops, could eat 3 to 4 one right after another. I will tell my daughter, as a mother of 4 girls, I just feel in my gutt, their is something more going on here. 28yr, 26yr, 18yr, and my youngest 9yr. grandchildren g-5 1/2, g-on the way, b-5 1/2, b 4 1/2, b-8
Thank You for the addvice.
I know this is going to sound stupid, but has she seen a dentist, maybe it is something in her mouth that is hurting her when she eats. Chris was 2 and would not let me brush his upper front teeth and wouldn't open his mouth of course one dentist said that he has baby bottle rot. that made me mad. but because of his heart condition he had to be seen by a pediatric dentist who then listened to me and looked at his mouth and did an xray. well he had a huge abscess in his mouth on the roof of it. I was thinking maybe her jaw isn't aligned or maybe she is having trouble with a swallowing textures I don't know what to think.
good luck
She is not currently on any meds, but would not take them if perscribed. Very stubbern. Thanks for the comment. She rarely eats anything, has not gained weight in over a year, still at 30 lbs. Every meal is a struggle to get her to eat.
what medication is your granddaughter on?
Michelle
I know a family who has 4 children and 3 of them are with in normal weight or above. however the youngest is very very tiny and barely eats and she is 7 and still wears a size 4-5. they have had her tested for EVERYTHING and nothing is hsowing up. they have concluded thatt this is just the way she is going to be.
at 5 she maybe be a picky eater. heck my son who is 5 1/2 eats many many times a day very small meals but he still fits into 3-4T and he is doing okay as long as they aren't loosing weight the doctor says then there is no real concern
good luck
