snoring

by ny2125, Mar 11, 2008 10:09AM
our 4 month old will sometimes snore at night.  and its not real loud, almost like you can hear him breathing.  he breathes through his nose when he sleeps.  he has had some colds here and there and is starting to teeth.  we do not hear him gasp for breath or wake up during the night for i was fearful of sleep apnea.  we have a motion monitor in his crib anyways.  should snoring  be a concern?  his checkups have been fine so far.

my son is also 4 months, and snores a little bit too.  I wondered if it could be allergies but the doctor says he's fine. Right now he has such a bad cold tho.  he's very congested and hoarse, and has been throwing up everything for the past 3 days.  we had him at the ER, and they said it's just a virus.  I still worry about the snoring tho.  He's been doing that for a couple months.
