Anchoring during sacrocolpopexy
Has anyone had the da Vinci Sacrocolpopexy with trendelenburg positioning who also had a herniated disc at L5S1?  I am very nervous about anchoring the mesh to my sacrum with that preexisting injury as well as going through surgery at a 40 degree tilt!  I have an artificial hip as well so all of the repositioning is scary and I have to have the surgery.  Anyone with the same thing?  Thanks.

Welcome to the POP forum.  I have not undergone this procedure so cannot comment personally.  However, I wonder if you would consider posting your question on the Ask a Dr part of the site under Urogynecology as well as Pelvic Organ Prolapse.

I wish you success with your operation.
