Hello. I had surgery 12 days ago to correct a prolapsed bladder and uterus. I didn't have much pain at first. Then 3 days later I contracted an infection and spent 2 days in hospital. That's cleared up but for the last 3 days I have had terrible tight pains in my abdomen. Has anyone else had this?
Did you have a Urogynecologist do your Prolapse operation? Did you have your uterus suspended or a hysterectomy with the top of your vaginal cuff suspended?
I would contact your surgeons office about the tight pains in your abdomen. I am not sure what these pains are but feel you need to ask this question to make sure all is OK.
You will have swelling inside and this goes through phases as you recover, however be sure and get an answer from your surgeons office about this.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
