removal ?

I have not gone to the doctor for checkup due to my funds, but wonder how easy it is for the removal of this mesh?  I have read other articles about having several surgeries.  My profession is a driver and I tell you -  bouncing in the seat just
does not feel to good when the pain props up.

It is possible that you have an additional type of POP (there are  5 types). Have you looked at your vaginal area with a mirror to see if there are tissues bulging out? If you have constipation (something aggrevated by driving for occupation, your digestive zone does not get a chance to "shift". Chronic use of laxatives will make the colon lazy, it's so difficult for female drivers to find a balance with POP issues. I'm hoping you eat a lot of fruit (works better than grains for fiber) and push the water.

I can assist you with how to find a urogyn if you have problems, that would be who you'd want to see regarding mesh removal as well. The pelvic cavity is so intricate, you want a specialist handling this and few drs address mesh complications. At the point you are ready to find a urogyn give me a shout and I can help you locate one in your area and tell you how to find out how good they are. Once you know if it is indeed mesh concerns that need to be addressed, the urogyn will either say he/she can take care of it or will guide you to someone who can-at that point I can help you check to see if that dr is ok.

Mesh trim?  Not sure what is causing the pain - It is a very odd sensation that causes
me to be super still until it eases away ... while I am driving this sensation comes and goes :(
I can feel the bulge in the vaginal area, so I don't dare push, so I have stayed on laxatives for quite sometime.

Thanks, I will check about a urogyn when I get the funds..  I do hope it is minor repair, but if not... can you direct me to more information of removal?

Mesh removal is complicated and should be addressed by a specialist (please see a urogyn), it is possible that in your case having an in-office mesh trim may be able to address it. Since it has been many years since your surgery and you are now just having complications, you may not need aggressive surgery to address this but of course only a physician can advise on that after assessing exactly what is going on. Is the pain definitely from mesh poking or is there other pain? There may be other POP issues going on. What all did you have repaired initially?
