My mum of 78 has been told she needs a SACROSPINOUS SUSPENSION(vagina prolapse).People have said that it will have to be redone in a couple of years.Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.Thank you.
My guess is that the people who say it will have to be done again in a couple of years are probably not Urogynecolgists. I hope your mother is seeing an experienced Urogynecologist and would suggest you go with your mother if possible and take a list of questions with you.
How many of these procedures have they carried out.
What success rate do they have.
What materials are being used
Vaginal suspensions are supposed to be permanent. I hope your mother has a successful operation and gets back to full health.
