Purple ring

hey there, i am 16 and uncircumsized, the foreksin on my penis seems to be fine i can pull it back all the way no problem, however, for some time now i've had this sort of purplish ring around the bottom of the head of my penis, it doesn't hurt or anything but i would like to know if it's something really serious, thank you

Hi there!

This is likely to be due to engorgement of blood vessels and if intermittent should not be anything to worry about; though you may consider an evaluation by a primary care physician to rule out other causes such as infections etc.
